New Direction

Well for those who will ever actually read this and or care, I'm going into a completely different direction of my life. With the combination of living with a nursing major and working at Camp Isanogel I've decided to go back to school and learn how to be an Occupational Therapist. Yes, I know, this means paying for school all by myself now, classes, papers and grades. It won't be pretty, but I truly believe that God has pointed me into a direction that will fit me better and serve his purpose for me. Sometimes we have to admit that the path we choose is not the path he had in mind.

The picture is from camp this summer, one of my favorites. The dress was a fun way to dress up for our last dance at camp.

Country Music 1/2 Marathon

I did the Country Music 1/2 Marathon with my parents and Jason last weekend. This is not an actual picture of me, if you couldn't tell, but I think it represents me pretty well. We had a lot of fun, tortured ourselves a bit, but I think it was worth it in the end. I finished in 3:03:22, Jason and Dad finished together at 2:53:37 and Mom came in about 15mins after me. Needless to say I think we're all recovering.

Current Position

As of late I've been struggling to get a real hold on the working world. I work at a restaurant in Nashville, TN called Couva Calypso. It's a job, not much else to tell you about it. Their webiste is, http://www.calypsocafe.com/home.htm
